Great Barrier Reef islands, Dunk Island & Bedarra Island Mission Beach is unique in having two World Heritage listed sites on its doorstep. Firstly, Mission Beach is the closest mainland point to the Great Barrier Reef thus making it the ideal place to start your snorkelling, diving or fishing trip.

Mission Beach's aquatic playground is a few minutes by boat offshore where you will find the well known islands of Dunk Island and Bedarra Island, and the Family Group islands. A little further south is the largest island National Park of Hinchinbrook Island. The world-renowned Great Barrier Reef is only a 50 minute catamaran ride away from Mission Beach and is an attraction that should never be missed.
